Affiliate Program Terms

To apply you must hold a By Faith Apps account with a verified email address. A paid subscription is not required. Applications are reviewed before approval unless automatic approval is enabled.

The affiliate account belongs to the workspace, not to an individual. Anyone in that workspace holding the relevant permission may operate it, and commission is earned by and paid to the workspace.

Each approved affiliate receives a unique referral code and links containing it. When somebody opens one of your links we record the visit and store an attribution against an opaque identifier in a first-party cookie for the attribution window shown in your dashboard (30 days by default).

Attribution uses the last qualifying click by default: if a person opens links from more than one affiliate, the most recent one is credited. We may change the attribution model on notice.

Attribution is recorded server-side. Clicking your own link while signed in does not create or move attribution.

A purchase qualifies for commission when all of the following are true:

• A verified payment succeeded. A checkout page reaching a success screen is not a payment.
• A live attribution to you existed at the time of payment.
• The product is eligible for affiliate commission.
• The purchaser is a new customer, where the program requires that.
• Your affiliate account is active and, where the program requires a subscription, your own subscription is active.
• The billing period is covered by the recurring rule then in force.

Self-referrals do not qualify. This includes purchases by you, by your workspace, by accounts you control, and by accounts sharing a verified email address with you.

Commission is a percentage of the eligible net sale, or a fixed amount per sale where a product specifies one. The eligible net sale is the amount actually charged to the customer, less tax, less payment processing charges, less any amount refunded. Discounts are reflected in the amount charged and are therefore already excluded.

Percentage amounts are rounded down to the nearest minor unit of currency. Commission is denominated in the currency of the underlying payment; we do not convert currencies.

Where a rate specific to you, a promotional rate, a product rate and the program default could all apply, a rate specific to you takes precedence, then a promotional rate, then a product rate, then the default. A promotion does not reduce a rate individually agreed with you.

A commission is created as pending when a payment succeeds and remains pending for the holding period shown in your dashboard (30 days by default). After that it becomes payable if the purchase is still valid.

Payable balances are paid on the published schedule once the balance reaches the minimum payout amount. You must complete payout onboarding before your first payment. We record only an account identifier; bank details and tax documentation are held by the payout provider.

A full refund reverses the related commission. A partial refund reduces it in proportion. A chargeback lost by the platform reverses the commission. Where a commission has already been paid, the reversed amount is recorded as a debit against future earnings.

A disputed payment freezes the related commission until the dispute resolves. If the dispute is resolved in the platform’s favour, the commission resumes its normal lifecycle.

• Bidding on By Faith Apps brand terms, or misspellings of them, in paid search.
• Domains, social handles, application names or content that imply you are us or speak for us.
• Unsolicited email, SMS or direct messages.
• Coupon, cashback, toolbar or extension injection of referral codes.
• Claims about price, features, availability or results that we have not made.
• Creating accounts, orders or clicks to generate commission.
• Sharing a referral link without the required disclosure.

Wherever you share a referral link you must disclose that you may earn a commission, clearly and close to the link. The wording we supply in your dashboard is sufficient. Undisclosed affiliate links are treated as deceptive advertising by several regulators, including the United States Federal Trade Commission, and are a breach of these terms.

We may suspend or close an affiliate account for breach of these terms, for suspected fraud, or where required by law. Suspension stops new referrals from qualifying; it does not confiscate commission already earned. Closure is permanent.

Every suspension, closure, rejection and commission reversal is recorded with a reason, and that reason is shown to you. To appeal, reply through support within 30 days.

You may leave the program at any time. Earned, payable commission remains payable.

We may change commission rates, the attribution window, the holding period, the payout minimum and the recurring rules. Material changes take effect at least 30 days after we give notice, and apply to sales made after they take effect — never retroactively. A commission already created is calculated at the rate recorded on it.

You are responsible for any tax arising on commission you receive, and for providing the documentation your payout provider requires. Nothing in this program, this page or your dashboard is tax advice.

Participation does not create employment, partnership, agency or a joint venture. You have no authority to make commitments on behalf of By Faith Apps.
